“I enjoy the Lakenheath KSW School because of its family and friendly atmosphere. My son and I practice Kuk Sool together. It’s a great work out and an activity we can both enjoy. I am also attracted to the art of Kuk Sool because of its comprehensive study of the Korean martial arts and its consistency from school to school.”

LAKENHEATH INSTRUCTORS

Scott Slack
3rd Degree Black Belt
Instructor

Pu Sa Bum Nim (PSBN) Scott Slack has been training in Kuk Sool Won for over 14 years. He currently assists Sa Bum Nim Hart at Lakenheath with the Adult and Children's classes every week. His main goal is to one day have a school of his own so he can pass down the teachings he has gathered from his instructor SBN Hart, as well as other teachings he has gathered from visiting masters and instructors from all over the world.

PSBN Scott's favourite part to kuk sool is the family and friendships he has made at Lakenheath and at other kuk sool schools around the world. He loves to train on his own and with others every night which helps remove the stress we all experience at the office.

PSBN Scott also won European Grand champion at the 2004 UK Kuk Sool Won tournament held in Norwich. Scott sees this as a great achievement for himself and would like to thank SBN Darren Hart, his family and everyone else who helped him in his training for this competition.

PSBN Scott has the opinion that being a higher belt doesn't necessarily make you a better martial artist, it's what you do in preparation and how hard you train for that belt that earns you the respect of your class and your Instructor.
